My case : Broken digitizer asus x202e, with ubuntu 16.04.1
For temporary :
install xinput > sudo apt-get install xinput
view port your digitizer > xinput -list
then, if you seen its id for touchscreen ‘Atmel touchscreen for me on port 11’ > xinput disable 11
Then, for permanently :
open as root with text editor > sudo gedit /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf
in document , find your touchscreen config.
*block all input such as touchpad, and touchscreen
add in the last line on touchscreen section, don’t forget it’s indent following > Option “Ignore” “on”
*just block touchscreen
change the last touchscreen section into file > from ‘on’ to ‘off’
done, restart your ubuntu pc.
