Disable touchscreen on ubuntu forever – working for me

My case : Broken digitizer asus x202e, with ubuntu 16.04.1

For temporary :

install xinput > sudo apt-get install xinput

view port your digitizer > xinput -list

then, if you seen its id for touchscreen ‘Atmel touchscreen for me on port 11’ > xinput disable 11

Then, for permanently :

open as root with text editor > sudo gedit /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf

in document , find your touchscreen config.

*block all input such as touchpad, and touchscreen

add in the last line on touchscreen section, don’t forget it’s indent following > Option “Ignore” “on”

*just block touchscreen

change the last touchscreen section into file > from ‘on’ to ‘off’

done, restart your ubuntu pc.
