Because of its cooler climate, it’s no surprise that for decades, Baguio City in the province of Benguet is one of the must-visit destinations among Filipinos every summer. And it’s also no surprise that it has become too congested over the years because of this annual influx of visitors, businesses opening up, and some who just decided to stay permanently. Despite all that, we keep visiting this city on the mountains simply because it still provides a charming and convenient escape from the summer heat of Manila.
